Gus, our beloved co-founder, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2018. While he will be greatly missed, the firm will continue his legacy of relationships, loyalty, and partnering with clients.
Gus was a registered patent attorney with over 30 years of electronics industry experience. He provided both large and small clients a wide range of intellectual property support, and had a strong technical background that allowed his practice to support a diverse range of technologies including microprocessor architectures, video fabrication, telecommunications, software, circuits, memories and semiconductor processing. Gus had significant experience in developing and implementing intellectual property strategies that were customized to meet his client’s individual needs.
Prior to entering private practice, Gus served as IP counsel for Motorola, supporting Motorola’s Semiconductor Division where he began his engineering career. During his engineering tenure at Motorola, he was responsible for Application Specific Integrated Circuit hardware design and development, software development, and design and technical support for a wide range of technologies.
