Patent Preparation and Prosecution
Bob’s practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications, primarily in electronic and computer technologies. He has ten years of experience practicing before the USPTO.
Bob leverages thirty years of experience working in the semiconductor industry to deliver solid technical expertise to his clients. His extensive experience relates to digital and analog circuits, microprocessor architecture, signal and graphics processing, network communications, computer systems, computer management and firmware interface technology, semiconductor devices and processing, SOC architecture, and CAD technology. In addition, Bob has an extensive background in the general sciences, including chemistry and physics.
Before Larson Newman, Bob spent thirty years designing state-of-the-art microprocessors as a product development engineer for a cutting-edge semiconductor company. He is also an inventor with numerous issued patents. His vast background as a practicing engineer makes him particularly adept at working with engineers and inventors. Bob is exceptionally qualified to identify patentable intellectual property for his clients. Bob's passion for science and technology extends beyond his occupation; his hobbies include computers and electronics, mineralogy, pyrotechnics, and music.
