Tony’s practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications, principally involving electrical, computer science, and mechanical technologies, and opinion writing and litigation support. He has more than fifteen years of experience practicing patent law.
Tony has extensive experience protecting intellectual property relating to networking, computer systems, semiconductor devices, computer peripherals, communications systems, aircraft and aerospace technologies, oilfield technology, and data security.
Tony brings over 20 years of technical and business experience to his intellectual property practice, including silicon and system-level validation for mobile, desktop, and enterprise systems. He designed and implemented test equipment and strategies from the circuit to the system level and has trained engineers across the globe in the latest technical innovations. In addition, Tony has experience in industrial process control, RF digital and analog signal processing and component design, and mass transit rail vehicle design and manufacturing, including electronic control systems for vehicle propulsion and braking, safety circuits, and power conditioning, including DC-to-DC and DC-to-AC subsystems.
Before joining Larson Newman, Tony practiced at law firms ranging from his own solo practice to small patent boutique firms.
